Gaïa
2026 production (Premiere on June 26th, 2026 – Festival Regarde! – Arès – Gironde – 33)
Seeing and listening the world differently
Gaïa, meaning “Mother Earth,” explores the bonds that unite us with the environment. Having disrupted its harmony and threatened its balance, how can humanity inhabit the world with sensitivity? In this contemporary circus production, acrobats, technicians, and musicians play with the instability of an original, constantly shifting set design to find balance: poetry can then emerge here and there, at any moment. This contemplative narrative, sustained by suspense, invites us to become aware of the impact, positive or negative, that our lives have on our planet.
With Gaïa, the Bivouac Company invites us to look at the world differently, to better understand it so that each of us may reflect on our relationship with the living world. Ultimately, this production invites us to perceive the fragile power of a nature shaped by humans and to imagine together how to experience it with sensitivity.
