The starting point for this initiative was an artistic collaboration with Kitsou Dubois, a choreographer and dance researcher who was invited to join the Gaïa artistic team, a new production by the Bivouac Company. Throughout their joint residencies, Paul Virilio’s vision sparked passionate discussions among Maryka Hassi (director), Benjamin Lissardy (acrobat), and Kitsou Dubois. Rich and original, it now seems worthwhile to carefully study Paul Virilio’s vision, to analyze it from a sensibility-based perspective in order to propose an “artistic autopsy” of it.
